On Behalf of SweetSpotTraining.com, Canador Inc. and the Fairytale Palace, Launch Now! Promotions is pleased to announce that the Durham Kids Fall Fun Day 2010 was a great success!
Despite some inclement weather, attendance was good and everyone had a great day. The event featured a bake sale, silent auction, raffles, hot dogs, popcorn, “Pirate Willy” face painting and scavenger hunt, crafts, games, contests and a *live* princess matinee show. Children and parents alike were delighted with the number of free activities, and every game won a prize! The Durham Kids Fall Fun Day event received full media coverage with representatives from radio, television and print, ie:
- Radio – KX96
- Newspaper/print – SNAP! Ajax newsletter - print and online
- Television – “Til Dept Do Us Part” - an upcoming episode will feature a mom and her 2 children having family fun at our event, to show program viewes that families can still get out and participate in fun activies when living on a budget
Together, we raised $1,442.00 for the ‘Kisses for Haley’ campaign while building awareness of Dural AVM throughout the greater community. On behalf of the organizers, Launch Now Promotions wishes to express our sincere gratitude for your generous donations of time, money and items to the Durham Kids Fall Fun Day 2010.We would not have been able to do this without the generous support from our sponsors and the help from friends and neighbours - we are truly thankful.
